The World Through My Lens: My Way with Travel Photography - William Cheung FRPS

Will Cheung was warmly welcomed back to Cambridge this week to give us his approach to travel photography.  He has worked for many photographic magazines and journals and was editor of the online Photography News.  He is now working freelance. His mantra is "enjoy your photography".  His enthusiasm for photography was very evident, he rarely if ever, leaves home without a camera in hand.  He is motivated by 'projects' which can last as little as 5 mins or as long as 5 years or more.  Some projects will be  added to wherever he is in the world e.g. 'umberellas' or 'people taking selfies' at the same time as capturing the city, culture, wildlife and landscape of the country he is in.  It was clear that he sees the camera as almost an extension of himself and all situations as presenting wonderful opportunities to do what he loves to do every day - photography!  Find his website here
