Our latest presenter gave a 'mono masterclass'!  Alan Frost ARPS who has produced some stunning fine art images in black and white of seascapes, buildings and people, achieved his ARPS in 2017 with a panel of images depicting countryside churches. In the first half of his talk, he presented monochrome images taken from a variety of genres. The second half of his talk is about his approach to photographic projects - Country churches inspired by a book "Betjeman’s Best British Churches’' first published in 1958 listing the 'best country churches'.  He finds these spaces spiritual and that feeling certainly came across in his images.  Another project was images from around Chichester Harbour and finally, a project featuring a furniture maker at work.  He easily conveyed the satisfaction that can be enjoyed by making bodies of work.  Use the following link to view his website where he shares his images and offers technical insights.  https://alanfrostphotography.com/
