Over 90 members attended the first talk of the season to listen, watch and learn from one of Cambridge's most experienced photographers.  Ann  Miles explained her passion for 'concrete', or rather, the buildings that it gives form to, as one of many architectural components.   Her images explored the many ways 'concrete' is used (as  in factual, documentary photography) and its opposite 'abstract' (creative, experimental photography) as they apply to our image making.  She gave us  many ways of photographing architecture and lots of creative techniques and ideas.  It was as is always the case with Ann Miles, a thoroughly inspiring talk which left the members wanting more.
